LITIGATION
We regularly undertake litigation instructions for our clients and guide you through all stages of the case. This applies of course to the ordinary courts, but also to the National Consiliation Board and various advisory complaint boards (Finansklagenemnda, KOFA, Husleietvistutvalget etc.).
For businesses, legal disputes from time to time will be inevitable and be part of the operational side of business. For our corporate clients, we focus on shielding the client of the financial burden and irrational operations that the handling of such a trial entails. Although the company is in a legal dispute, it is important to focus on continued sales and operations. By using us you get a collaborator who has control of the dispute case, while you can focus on operations and development.
For most private individuals, either being sued or suing someone is a new experience, which often is stressful and straining. Legal procedures can be time and cost consuming, and in addition to the actual object of dispute, there can often be a risk of not insignificant liability for legal costs.
Many disputes only find their solution in or during court proceedings. A large number of the cases that come before the courts also end with a settlement proceeding the court hearing or even during extrajudicial negotiations.
Both Stavnes Høisæther and Hansson have extensive and long-standing experience with litigating civil cases for the courts, both for private individuals and businesses.
In Hansson, we are concerned with involving the clients along the way, so that they understand the background for the advice given and the scope of the possible risk factors that may exist. With us you get a discussion partner and consultant with experience in and outside the courtroom with solid legal and strategic advice, while it is you as the client who is in focus.
